In Brazil, the service market is teeming with opportunities. The demand for innovative solutions drives entrepreneurs to create new businesses. With technology as an ally, applications and platforms emerge that connect service providers and customers, simplifying processes. In this scenario, HomeHero was created, an application that brings together two essential parts of a service ecosystem: users who seek assistance for everyday problems in their homes and service providers who wish to offer their skills and knowledge. During the definition process, some points were highlighted as the most important to be solved, such as: simplifying the user journey, speeding up the process of hiring a professional, and, mainly, ensuring security for both sides of the contract. The data collected by quantitative research and also by benchmarking, carried out to analyze competitors, allowed us to realize that an easy and efficient user journey would be a great advantage over others. After the prototyping phase, we moved on to testing and validation with the end user.
